Just got back from the BC boards

They are pretty sure Coach Spazzani will have similar success shutting down our offense and this one will be over in the 3rd quarter. I never thought I would see a day where our conference rivals would act this brazenly towards Clemson. Pretty much every team on our schedule has us chalked up as a win, our only hope at this point is that they overlook us moving forward and we can catch a couple of teams napping.

I’m ok you want to beat us, but don’t turn around and lose to Northern Illinois. The SEC is a massive circle jerk for any member who might win anything. ACC is a bunch of jealous siblings just hoping their big brother will fail. This creates an advantage for SEC teams. We have overcome this several times, but hard to overcome over the long term.

It's more a case of Clemson regressing to the level of those other teams.
The fact is, Clemson is not a very good team right now, especially on offense and until that gets fixed, there aren't going to be too many sure wins on the schedule.

The OL needs more quality bodies and better coaching.
The offense needs new blood the way LSU brought in Joe Brady.
The defense is fantastic, but the injuries are starting to really pile up.
Dabo absolutely needs to get off his high horse and quit being stubborn about some of these things, especially using the portal to bring in some quality depth and a few key starters.
Alabama, Georgia, and Ohio State are the only programs with more talent and the only schools to routinely recruit better, but they are very good at using the portal. We will not remain at the top if we don’t start doing it as well.
And regretfully we all applauded Dabo building the staff and culture around former Clemson players, but I think that has led to a lot of groupthink. A lot of blind loyalty to Dabo by a staff full of “ yes” men. We clearly need some outside blood with some fresh ideas on offense.
None of these things can be fixed during the season.

I've been seeing from other teams, and their fans, is disrespectful. They really need to take a step back and realize all the things Clemson has done for them over the years.

Remember how bad everyone wanted to beat FSU back in the day! They have been beat, kicked, clawed & even laughed at by the Tigers for years, they all want to say we beat Clemson that one year......
Think about NC state going into last week they had won 1 game in 16, they’ll be hanging on to last week for another 15 years now(coots). We threw them a bone...lol
It’ll make our victories that much sweeter!
We will still be the cream & rise to the top!

BCLou- I personally find BC to be one of the most respectful programs/ staff/ players/ fans toward Clemson. I’ve always had excellent experiences when watching Tigers play BC in the Valley. Definitely can’t say the same for NC State, FSU, & others

I can see why the BC fans feel this way. If the offense plays the same way as it has in the first 4 games and the same plays are called, why would anyone feel differently? This is especially true with our losses on D.
My gut ain't always right for sure, but I think somehow we win.

I'm surprised to learn BC even has a board. I've been to 4-5 games at BC. The local interest level has always seemed weak to me.

I was born and have family in NYC but I never have gotten to Boston. Just curious what your take on the town is .I have always heard things like great Italian food , gotta do the Freedom Trail. Seems like I remember hearing the hockey team at Harvard is a big deal im town at times .

Boston is a great road trip. There is wonderful Italian food in the North End and also great seafood in Boston. It's a very accessible town. College hockey is a big deal as are the Bruins. College football is an afterthought which makes sense with the NHL, NFL,MLB and college hockey.

I love SC but sometimes I think about things I missed not growing up in the Northeast. But then you hear about the property taxes up there and get snapped back to reality ! lol IMHO if college hockey is their thing more power to them .I have enjoyed every hockey game I have been to .The Rangers always make for good neighborhood bar talk in NYC ( from Queens myself ) and I had the pleasure some years ago of watching the Maple Leafs with our Canadian cousins at a hotel bar in Toronto.Had a great time.Hope to get to Boston before too long .But first the game tomorrow! Driving a few people to DV tomorrow afternoon .It's going to be a good day !

I gotta tell you, on June 8, 2007 the whole city of Boston was more polite and gracious than anything I’ve ever experienced anywhere, including Chahleston where I was from.
My dad drove our wagon—with me, my wife and 3 teenage grandkids—through the city using all 3 lanes because he couldn’t figure out how to turn left. No horns, no birds, nobody goosed it around him. Everyone held back and let him take all the lanes.
At lunchtime we checked out this great-looking deli—I wish I could remember so I could recommend it—and we all stood 7 across reading the menu board. Then I realized the checkout lines ran vertical, and we were blocking all the lines, keeping the regulars on their lunch hours from ordering. I moved a few of us out of the way so the regulars could order, but no one was rude, elbowed or squeezed by, or even politely said “excuse me but I’m in a hurry”. They all waited patiently.
I think they got a kick out of us. Especially the SC license plate.
My friend from Boston says they were friendly because we were the first tourists of the year. School in MASS didn’t end until June 21 that year. He says we got all the politeness stored up over the whole winter.
