They have the better QB and the better WRs, by far. Defenses are obviously about equal. Dabo and staff were outcoached, yes. But FSU is obviously the better overall team this year. We played a good game but you can't give up scoop & score fumbles and you can't make the bonehead mistakes and mismanage the clock at crunch time like that and expect to win.
This ain't the Tiger's year. Maybe next year. We'll have to eliminate the bonehead mistakes and the DC will have to figure out how to max the talent he has. That two minute drive at the end of the first half was a killer, and it wasn't all on the three man rush. Too many nole receivers running wide a$$ open.

That was a bad drive but the no hold call on XT that was obvious was the reason for it

Wide receivers yes. QB, no. You say the defenses were equal. So that means Cade outplayed Travis with worse receivers.

They had 22 yards rushing. We had 146.

THEY DON'T NEED TO RUN THE BALL TO BEAT US!!!!!! When it came down to it, their big WRs went up and got the ball. In OT our hapless DB had no chance.
As far as defense, they were the ones who were able to get to the QB and hit him hard enough to knock the ball out and scoop and score from a mile out.
FSU is better where it matters, and that showed when the game was on the line. We have talent but they are poorly coached and under developed. Dabo is choking away whatever we had left with his mediocre coaching hires. He needs to finish cleaning house after this seaason, and we better hope that wasn't one season too late. He should have done it while he was at it with the OC fire/hire.

I think it was abundantly clear that FSU has better WR's than we do. It's not even close.
