WR OrTre Smith labels Coot's WRs 'Unstopable'

He can envision his 6-4, 210-pound frame lining up on one side, and the 6-3, 210-pound bulk of Bryan Edwards on the other. He can see junior Deebo Samuel and newcomer Shi Smith on the inside, and imagine the results.
“Unstoppable,” said OrTre Smith, the Mount Pleasant wide receiver who is one of the highest-rated players in South Carolina's 2017 signing class. “We’ve got monsters on the outside with me and Bryan, and we’ve got people that just make linebackers and safeties look stupid like Deebo and Shi.”
South Carolina, which has lacked receiver depth the past two seasons, certainly offers the possibility of immediate playing time.
“I didn’t really care what anyone thought about my decision,” he said. “Just because a lot of people were (saying), ‘Clemson this, Clemson that.’ I was like, ‘Whatever.’ It’s about what I feel like is the best situation for me.”

we focused in on Robinson until red flags started coming up and backed off and focused more on Ortre. By that time he decided didn't want to play 4th fiddle: his choice. I think he may have turned into a Tight End here anyways.

to compete with the best. So he picked the school where he thinks he will be an instant king of the campus. And Smith has skills but going to a lesser program and even suggesting you could hold our WR's jockstraps...is laughable.

their OL won;t give their QB time vs a good DL. They will be great DB's out there too. I do think the Coots will have a good WR corp over the next couple of years. Their team will still suck though.

Unstoppable may be a bit sudden and bold but they will be very very talented at that position for sure. One problem though....their entire WB core blows....

This is definitely the most talented they will have been at receiver in a very long time, but hardly unstoppable. 2 Things:
1. Although very talented, they are not in the same universe as Clemson in terms of WR talent... It's just not even close.
2. Although very talented, there is very little around them to turn that into either production at receiver or wins.
Still think he will be a stud there and a future NFL starter.
