No, but it would be the best outcome based on the horrific start.
The negative would be Dabo could say... 'See my way still works' and not make any changes.

It would make for a (no additional adjectives) ‘good’ season.
Because Duke, FSU, Louisville, and S.Carolina would represent victories against ‘good’ teams. That would also represent a 5 game winning streak to conclude the regular season, and then a sixth win in the ‘Errr, Meh’ bowl vs Oklahoma.
Which would elevate our 8-4 regular season to a final record of 9-4.
(Yes, compared to most ACC teams, S.Carolina is ‘good.’ They would easily be an 8-4 team in this year’s ACC. They would lose their OOC game vs a SEC opponent and find a way to lose 3 ACC games.)
If we can squeeze out wins in our last five games, then this helps to atone for bad our loss to SYR and our other losses to so-so LSU, GA Tech (yes, GA Tech is hardly great, despite their W-L record), and SMU (another hardly great team).
Now, the likelihood of winning each of these final five games is remote.
