Some of these strikes are three inches off the plate! Anyone else losin' it?

Zone has been that way all night. Unfortunately, with the early lead, AP has been able to keep it off the plate all night with little repercussions.

All you ask for is consistenty. This ump has been consistent. It’s up to the batters 3 times through the order to pick it up.

It drives me crazy when people say as long as he's consistent its ok. The ump doesn't create the strike zone, the rule book does. I wish they would do away with umpires calling balls and strikes and just set up lasers to do it. Kind of like how major league games show where the pitch is actually at

Not the umps fault we watch close pitches go by for strike 3.

3-6 inches off the plate is not really a close pitch. Unfortunately the umpire tonight thought they were strikes

Then what come's next, a laser pitching machine on the mound to replace the pitchers!!! What they need to do, and it would be very easy to do. The home plate umps that call the balls and strikes that are consistent with the rule book, only allow those umps behind the plate, period....

No the pitchers still pitch, the only difference is balls and strikes are called accurately and consistently. No different than video challenges, everybody thought that would ruin every sport also

Umpires for our games are, by-in-large, absolutely pitiful.
