I mean, there's an argument to be made. Look at how much talent is on this team (based on their *'s coming out of high school) and how many starting returners we have from last year's team. During the Bowden era we NEVER had this much talent, so there was a reason we played like poop and got out talented against some great teams. Any team prior to 2013 Clemson team, didnt recruit that much high caliber talent. If you look at Dabo's teams since hes been there, based on the amount of talent retained from the previous year, this team even just 3 games in, is the absolute worst.

again look back at the recruiting classes and the *'s of the players, and starters, that returned. This is the highest returned team, that Clemson has returned from the prior year. In thinking about that, the 3 games we've played so far, with the anount of talent we retained along with preason projections, this is by far the worse start to a season we've had in 25 years. I saw 25 years because i cant find any team recruiting rankings information prior to 2000. Actually stop and think logically about it, instead of spouting out no. We've never once retained this much talent before, and the play we're getting from all that talent isnt even average.

The bottom was Tommy West's last 2 years and this looks exactly like those teams. They had pretty good defenses, but the offense was so awful they couldn't win. A lot of similarities.
