Love to see WRs blocking downfield. Mike Williams and Tee Higgins were great at it. I’m gonna throw this out there and probably get hammered for it but does it seem like kids from some parts of the country (CA?) just don’t seem to have “that dog” in them like kids from other parts (SC ,TN, AL)?

Spot on. I like hearing this. Acknowledgement we didn't last year and acceptance to change it. If these guys ever wish to make it next level, they better learn real quick on how to get that dog in em.
I know one that does have it, if he can get healthy, and that's Will Taylor. Good stuff.

Who hit the portal that couldn't block, was it Frank Ladson, or Ajou Ajou, or both?

I believe in several cases the WR they have referred to specifically about either not blocking or not taking practice seriously enough etc. is Ajou.
Ladson was "injured" most of the year so I'm guessing the comments made about him would be different.

Renfrow could block, and he could tackle if needed, but he was clutch when needing a 1st down catch anywhere on the field!!!

Charone Peake was a great blocking WR ...

There is one example against Miami where Peake totally pancakes the CB then slaps him on the butt as Kelly Bryant turns the corner on a long run.

To paraphrase Dabo last Fall, we had who we had. Despite the screams and yells of some wanna be coaches on TigerNet, it was not about a coach or a player. Let's hope we are healthy this season.

What a brutal industry (coaching) - just was curious about the old "Mad Scientist" - OC for Georgetown - didn't really realize they even had a football team.
