the elite crowd. I dont' think there's a commitment from SAmmy Watkins without a commitment from CJ Spiller. and so on.. CJ opened up the state of florida for us.

I think you have to ETN, TL, DW, Mike Williams, Sammy Watkins, Tee Higgins, Hunter Renfrow. Many defensive players, and OL as well as other offensive players.

CJ will always be one of the great signs by TB and his staff. One of the great signs by Clemson.

Then I agree CJ was one of the biggest surprise’s on NSD. CJ helped open the day for more surprises, 2 NC’s, 11 - 10 plus win season’s and his other contributions to Clemson University. He has been a great Ambassador as well. We should also be thankful to Tommy Bowden who unselfishly resigned mid season and highly recommended Dabo to take over as the HC. TB was Dabo’s boss at Bama and Clemson. TB could have left Clemson with bitterness by the way many fans treated him. TB being the man he is tried and did do what was best for Clemson. And that was to get behind Dabo to lead the football program.

So I think it’s only fair even though Dabo pushed for CJ Spiller TB should also get credit for the recruitment of CJ.

We hadn't had a recruiting victory like that in the post Ford era, and the Ford era was a different world compared to 2005-2006. The internet, recruiting services, ESPN, all of it elevated recruiting to a level never seen in the prior eras.
