Bad Bunny thumbed his nose at ICE (I guess), by refusing to perform in the US. So, this is just one-upmanship by conservatives.
Not ready to call the reaction racist, though. I'm sure if Justin Timberlake had said he wasn't performing in the US for the same reason - this reaction would have been the same.

or his opinion of ICE. All these people know is Bad Bunny speaks Spanish, sings in Spanish and to them that's not "American" (some don't even know that Puerto Ricans are Americans). That's why Turning Point is doing their halftime show.
My favorite reaction is Speaker Mike Johnson's, where he said "I don't even know who Bad Bunny is but he doesn't appeal to a broader audience and is no role model, it should be Lee Greenwood!"
