You commit and at some point later announce you are shutting down commitment. I’m detecting a trend ha. I guess part of it is for clicks and likes on the socials to get their name on the radar again. Kidz these days need external affirmations like a drug addict needs their next hit.

Yeah...Normally, I'm not an "old head" when it comes to my stances on NIL and transferring, but this phony "commitment" thing is really annoying. First a guy commits, then he comes back later and says, "now I'm REALLY committed!" Does that mean you weren't actually committed before? What's the point of the initial commitment then?

I think that it means they are committed for the time being, and if the other schools that he also liked isn't talking how much more they can sweeten their deal enough to get him to walk away from the school that likes the most... That's probably how that works!!!
