Coach Bakich's "turnaround" might be a better way to put it considering the mess Lee left behind......we still have to beat L'ville this weekend to be in the mix. Either way, the turnaround/success has been nothing short of remarkable.
But I digress........I would hope that the pressure from alumni and boosters will finally convince Neff that it's long past time to make a change.

My guess is Neff told Brownell that he will be let go...

after this season, regardless of record. This was probably framed as an opportunity that CBB should not waste because a good season likely gets him a job at a mid major school, while a bad season likely means his coaching career is over. I think his on air persona will prevent him from landing a job in broadcasting.

We have had no success in baseball yet this year so wait until the season ends, the ACC Tournament is over and we get an NCAA bid. The decision on Brownell has been made because we had a great season.

Not making the NCAA tournament is not considered a great season. He didn’t get fired because expectations here are very low in basketball.

Yes, basketball is considered positive revenue generating while baseball is a negative revenue sport. If you had to choose, you should make the bigger investment in the one that has most net potential. That’s basketball. And we have a coach who sucks and is creating a drain on University resources.

Embracing mediocrity is not happiness - it’s complacency. They’re not the same thing though it is easy to mistake them in an unexamined life.

True. You seem like a real winner.
Posting on an online forum to cry about the basketball coach every day seems like a lot of fun.

Not sure he’s the one that keeps bring it up or defending Brad, we all want Brad to win and the majority of Clemson fans I’ve talked to love Brad & will support him but most want change in the program.
It's not personal, it’s his HISTORY at Clemson. Most fans have been very kind about it. If it was football he’d be long gone!

You post at nearly twice the pace I do. Almost exclusively as propaganda for a loser. Then there is your post:TU ratio. Not sure you’re the one to criticize how someone uses their time on this forum.

Baseball takes 10-12.
Brownell's "program" needs to be imploded. Its hot garbage.

But basketball takes 15 years to lay the foundation.
