Would there be any chance, that Saban would consider coming to Clemson? Especially since the powers that be seem to let you run the program the way you want. For dabo it just happened to be into the ground!

When Dabo leaves we will fall apart faster than Alabama has, we will become Auburn. Good traditions, middling program. Win 4-8 games a year for a decade with the occasional 9 win season.

Some of us weren’t born in 92 we were teenagers when Danny Ford was winning championships and had a solid team year end and year out. Georgia was a big a rivalry game as Carolina and we held our own. Our grandfather can remember years before that when Clemson was well respected. Everytime someone mentions no Dabo their minds go strait to Tommy West because, to be fair it’s all you’re old enough to remember so that’s what your brain relates to.
Clemson right now has a brand, it’s more recognized currently than 1/3 of the SEC teams like Miss St, etc.
if we continue to allow this to tarnish then yes, we may have a hard time rebuilding or luring in another coach but with 10-12 million a year to pay, excellent facilities, recent success we won’t have to just go settle for a Tommy West so please stop going to that because you make yourself sound stupid.
Further I would rather have a bad year or two while another coach came in and rebuilt a system based on the modern approach to NIL etc then suffer this overhyped crap every year like we have for going on the Fifth season strait

Exactly! What do these Jokers think Clemson is? We aren't a shingle School, or a blue blood or anything of that nature. We would have not want anything of any significance really in a hundred plus years of football if it weren't for Charlie pale / Danny Ford in the wild west days and Dabo Sweeney and his eternal optimism and vision for a middling program to be able to be built into a Powerhouse. That don't come along every day bro! These people that think we would be better off without Davos Sweeney are the most delusional of us all! And they can call us a Colt or whatever they want to, simple fact is Dabo is the best coach we've ever had, and most likely best we will ever have. Freaking enjoy it and trust him to get us in the playoffs again and possibly with a shot to do something. There's about 100 other programs that would love to have the kind of problems we do right now. More than 100 I dare say.

These people really think Clemson can just go out and get any coach it wants in this era. They are delusional.
-Extremely high expectations here.
- At an extreme disadvatage when it comes to booster money and Alumni support
- Not in an area that most kids would want to go spend 3-5 years of their life at.(small town vibes)
-In a poor conference.
Whats likely to happen is Clemson hires up and comers (most will be busts but wont know that until 4 years in) they may hit on one but then the SEC and BIG $$$ comes a calling.
Clemson has got to escape the ACC.

I wouldn't say he ran it into the ground. That would be an exaggeration. But he definitely has made some poor decisions in the past 4 years that have made the program decline. We're just not a top 4 team anymore. Or even a top 10 team.

How do fans think NIl has affected Dabo and Clemson. Alabama has a butt load of more money than Clemson. Look at them after yesterday,
Brian Kelly bought that team to save his job.The SEC officials did as much as they could to protect their own. Some of the PI’s called against our D were IMO offensive PI’s.

Look at Fla St. Norvel hired a former head coach and gave him free rain. Don't know why Dabo can't do that. Realize your limitations and either let Riley run the show or hire someone who can. I believe Riley's ceiling was TCU. All I have seen from him is a lot TCU vs Georgia over and again.
