Yeah man he totally sounded like a dictator in that speech. Promoting freedom of religion, gun rights, and small government gives serious facist vibes.

Trump demonstrated how a political candidate handles an unscripted crowd that is not naturally predisposed to messages from his political party.

Considering everything (including that many Libertarians live in a political fantasy land), I thought that Trump was impressive.

Too bad for the Democrats didn’t take up the invitation from the Libertarian Party for Biden to speak at their convention. Biden would no doubt have performed with his usual oratorical brilliance.

Absolutely. Unlike most politicians who either pretend to ignore criticisms from the audience or to berate them, Trump told the Libertarians that their votes … and by extension they themselves … would continue to be irrelevant if they virtue signaled by voting for the Libertarian candidate again.

His “3%” message was funny because it rung true.

As far as the Libertarians who still favor RFK Jr, I wonder how many of them remember that RFK Jr had, in the not distant past, publicly recommended that imprisonment was appropriate for people who expressed ‘climate denier’ views.

So much for those RFK Jr Libertarians who profess to hold the First Amendment as a core principle.

Trump is the only major candidate that has not attempted to suppress speech when he had the power to actually try and push to suppress free speech.
