Why must we play on Thursdays and Friday

Why do we have to play on Thur and (this year) Friday?? We get no TV time on the Saturday following the week night game plus the Friday game is when the recruits are playing HS games. I seem to recall UGA and Alabama have never played on Thursday. Understand they stated they would only play on Saturday. I am sure there are others. Do we have no say in this? Anyone have any insight on this?

That's an entire night of Clemson coverage. It creates a short week, but as long as our opponent order isn't like @ BC then @ FSU on Thursday, it's not terrible. I don't mind playing Thursday nearly so much as Friday, that doesn't seem right.

Why do the Tigers play on days not named Saturday??
