Delegating the ACC to the G4 will kill it as I’m sure that’s all that’s needed to nullify the GOR and most teams would bolt immediately. Careful what you wish for. You don’t want to see Clemson with SEC or Big Ten money.

Why do say I'm a coot? I'm a lifelong Clemson fan, have been since the 5th grade. But the ACC is a huge joke. Clemson should have gotten out years ago.

"P4" is not an official designation. It's a made up term because the SEC, ACC, Big Ten and Big 12 have all the brand name programs and have larger revenue than the other conferences. It's not about actual performance. Again, it's just a made up name by fans and media.

What was the ACC’s record against the SEC last year? Why are you using one season as your point here? If this continues for 5 years, make this post, but you are probably a troll by saying this now. If it turns around next year, I would expect you to correct yourself.

I've made the argument several times today that our 10 wins this season rings as a hollow accomplishment. I have been called a coot at least a million times. Like it or not, the ACC is bad. 10 wins as a measuring stick is an outdated metric for success. We lost every out of conference game we played this season against other P4 schools....and this was as the Conference champ. Heck, we won the conference and still received the lowest possible seed. SMU was given the second lowest seed. The ACC was given no byes, lost both playoff games, and has nobody left in the playoff. Winning the ACC means nothing if we can't make noise on the national stage.

The ACC had a bad year and has been less than expected for several years.
Fortunately, I am Clemson fan, not a fan of a conference. I like it that FSU sucked. I am glad
that Miami is not 'back' to where they once were. I feel ok about VaTech still struggling to replace
long retired Frank Beamer. I appreciate it a lot that after being much better than Clemson for decades, Georgia Tech hasn't been notably good for 30 years. It did not bother me much at all that NCSU lost to ECU.
My team, our Clemson Tigers won 10 games this year, won a 17 team conference championship and played in the CFP. I like it that in the most recent 4 years Our Tigers won two conference titles, two bowl games and made our 7th appearance in the CFP. In the most recent four years our Tigers won more total games than all but 8 teams in the nation. In the most recent 10 years my Clemson Tigers won more games than every team in America not named Alabama. We played in 4 national championship games,won 2 Nattys and appeared in 7 college football playoffs.
