We knew this would be a repeat of last season. We don't have the bullpen to win a CWS let alone advance to one.
Advancing to a super regional was a welcomed surprised. If we somehow beat Florida twice to advance to the CWS then that would be a MASSIVE achievement considering our roster. But anybody who thought this team was truly capable of winning it all had very unrealistic expectations, especially after the way we performed the 2nd half of the season.
Having said that, our job is to show up tomorrow and support the team! Hoping we can at least force a game three and make this interesting!

I’m not Shocked -or- Surprised! I believe this Team has overachieved based on the Average to sub-par Pitching Staff!

Period. Making it as far as we have now is a pretty big deal. Sure, losing is always disappointing, but this team has nothing to hang their head about for this season.

I want us to win every game, but this team was never going to win it all. Too many injuries and too much inconsistency outside of Knaak. Has been a heck of a season regardless of tomorrow's result.

We have won 44 games and there are about 200 teams that would love to say that. This has been a really good year for Tiger baseball and hopefully it is not over tomorrow.
