Why is AE dropping so bad? Medical issue?

Something is causing this. You cannot go from 3rd graded running back to not in the top 14 (already drafted) and being the top graded player still on the board ( and not listed in the top 10 best available) - without something major.
Jeez - someone drafted a RB that runs 4.76 from Stanford.
What is up?

and in the first round at that was mind boggling.i will say though none of the qbs this year are that great so it was pick your poison.i think with andre its more of injury prone.but with that marcus went already and he has injured both legs.so who knows.

So what. NFL teams play the averages

There are plenty of NFL players of all shapes and sizes, that doesn't mean every football player of every shape and size will be effective.

I didn't say that every player of every shape and size would be effective, nor did I imply such, nor am I saying that AE will be effective because of it.
What I am saying is that many players who don't fit the mold are successful, and I feel sure that if Andre had been healthy for the combine and pro day, he would have run a very good 40 and would have been picked much earlier. He is not too small.

I don't think anybody is saying he wont be successful.

He doesn't fit the mold, he is older than average, and he has had a good number of injuries. Therefore he is dropping. That is all there is to it.

Somebody with his size and skill set should have run a 4.4 forty. I'm convinced his 4.6 time is really hurting him right now. A 4.4. would've had him drafted a while ago, injury prone or not.
