Why I love tnet

My friend from hs randomly texted me today and spewed a bunch of angry messages about how I’m basically a gullible fool for voting the way I do. Disheartening to say the least.
But I can go on tnet and read news about how awesome the tigers are (thanks tnet staff for your hard work and dedication). And I can make arguments about brad, dabo, etc and sometimes get text yelled at by anonymous strangers (thanks anonymous tnet people). It’s just such a relief.
Thumbs up if you recognize how preferable the latter experience is. I will try to keep all my posts reflective, humorous, or persuasive. Not going to try to get personal or go after anyone’s intelligence on here. Thanks again tnet staff and users for this virtual smorgasboard of tiger related news and discussions. So awesome.

My mom and her childhood friend stayed close throughout their lives. They disagreed respectfully over any number of topics including politics, but it never affected their friendship. It's very sad as a society we've lost the ability to disagree and still be civilized.
