Musk pushed out the top Treasury official this week. Some of the payments that run through the bureau include Social Security and Medicare benefits, tax refunds, and federal salaries. It's terrifying that this unelected South African immigrant could get to control these benefits. No doubt, he's going to be looting the treasury and stealing from us.

Poor bureaucrat decided to take his ball and go home instead of doing his job and cooperating with the incoming administration. Must be a lot of skeletons in his closet to tuck tail and run to that fat govt pension instead of sticking around and hoping they don't find out where the bodies are buried. Or maybe it was that onerous demand of actually having to go to into work every day that was just too much pain for him to bare. Good riddance either way.

The same left wing (and self righteous old school Pubs who just hate MAGA )kooks who have whined on here for years about deficits (mainly the Trump years deficits but still) are now suddenly aghast at the concept of someone coming in from the outside to shine a bright light on the cesspool that is DC spending. So they hate Trump when he runs up deficits and they hate Trump when he forms a group to specifically reduce wasteful spending and increase the accountability of those in charge of monitoring said spending.
