My cousin got fired as the sales manager of the Cadillac
Dec 24, 2015, 12:38 PM

dealership in Palm Beach two years ago and last year got a job as a salesman for a Volkswagen dealer last year. Now he has been hired as the manager of the Yugo (or some vehicle like that) Dealership in Cleveland. His family and friends (other than me ) are ecstatic because of the new job and the fact that he is assembling his former sales team from the Cadillac dealership. Am I justified in having some reservations?

I see what you did there....Boom getting canned at Florida, hooking up with the War Eagle gang and now trying to sell Chicken manure. Interesting way of looking at it.
Personally, I'd rather focus on beating the brakes off of Oklahoma than any dumpster fire! Go Tigers!

Well if he only has a lot full of two star cars and some three star trucks he will fail .,
If his salesforce tries to pass off three star trucks as five stars then trouble will come from the finance department when they discover the fraud and realize they will never recover the money owed on cars towed to the boneyard .,

as a salesman (actually led one of the sales teams), until half way through the year he found our that VW had been lying about emission tests. I guess just bad luck! Says he learned in anger management classes not to yell at customers.......not so sure those classes have helped though, knowing him like I do!
