Clemson ranked 116 in the luck index. Will we continue to be unlucky? Florida St is 21. If there is any move to the mean here it advantage Clemson.

Mike Norvell and his new look total team return to dominance FSU are the least consistent team in football. I’m not pointing it out to poke fun - we’re barely better and it’s obvious if you watched us play. But everyone fluffing FSU is turning a blind eye to the fact they’re simply not that good. And for those in the cheap seats, I’m not predicting an outcome. I post these to point how stupid the narrative around FSU is.

These are fascinating metrics - didn’t know about the luck rating!

Even if FSU is the most inconsistent program in CFB, I’m not sure our Tigers are more than one standard deviation removed from them…

Gotta play clean to win.

No, we’re not. I think it’s likely a close game that comes down to who makes the least mistakes. But there is a contingent on here that has wanted to declare them the big kid on the block when they almost converted an onside kick to maybe have a chance to beat us last year. And Mike Norvell is a POS and wanting to proclaim him anything before he earns a single piece of hardware is about as anti-Clemson as it gets.

Bad luck (fumbles and interceptions and random injuries) sometimes last an entire season.

I'd guess if we are fumble prone and turnover prone it will continue rather than going back to normal this season.
