On a bad shooting night the Brad Defenders say you can’t blame him bc the players have to make their shots. Now when the players hit their shots we have to credit Brad? Can’t have it both ways.

Clemson did not have a good shooting night and the 1st half turnovers were killers. When VA shoots 22 free throws vs our 5, the outcome should not be in doubt. They did a good job of doubling PJ but they mauled him often. We had 2 of the best players on the floor. VA had 6 of the best 9.

Correct. Sometimes you have good shooting nights, and sometimes you have bad shooting nights.
If you have a bad shooting night coupled with the opposing team having a good shooting night, you could lose to anybody.
I know, crazy concept.

He gets credit for this win for sure. He also gets the exact same amount of credit for those horrible losses. I’m not going to get too high because we got two games left and the ACC tournament. We probably need at least two more wins and maybe even three to make NCAAT.

The Tigers are much improved this year. They won the close games they would have lost last year.
So yes Brownell deserves some credit, as do the players.

It was imperative that we come out strong for this one and put that nooner crowd on its heels, and Brad had our boys in the right frame of mind to do just that.
Awesome game. Way to go Tigers! Critical moment, and they delivered.

He only deserves credit if he deserves blame for the SC, Loyola, and Louisville losses. I'll give him BC. Extremely tired of the gross inconsistent play.
