Exactly. Clemson vs Syracuse is not exactly a sexy matchup. Some of you look for the smallest things so you can get on t-net and bltch about sec bias.
I woulda rather them pick the Barcelona Real Madrid game I'm watching right now.

While they can't ignore us if we keep on winning, the evidence seems to show that ESPN can influence the rankings based on how important they make different games seem. Not that we're quite at this level of being ignored, but pretty much every team from the former Big East went "under the radar" because ESPN never paid any attention to them or the teams they played. That sure didn't do anything for those teams.

They will predict the GT-Clemson game. To be honest guys, this is a compliment to us, not a diss. They try to pick the close games. They aren't going to pick a game that they think Clemson will win going away. If we play other ranked teams or teams that they judge as a competitive matchup for us, they will pick it. If they had a bias, they wouldn't be at Clemson or Clemson games for Gameday. Also, we don't have that offensive face with Boyd or Watkins right now until Watson gets back. That also makes us more noticeable.

Did they pick the UofL or BC games? Those were both expected to be pretty close, and both of those are above average teams.

we are just not a fun team to watch. No one cares about Clemson-Syracuse outside of fans of each team. Offense gets the ratings. We are kind of a throw-back defensive team which is fine for us (if we keep winning) but it's not going bring in a viewing audience.. Watching us not being able to run or pass and stopping the other teams from doing the same will get the channel changed for the casual CF viewer.

I agree. Here in Atl only time people talk Clemson is when we played UGA and when Watson was tearing it up. I dont mind the lack of publicity for the moment.
