How long should we have waited? Had it been the next day or later, some would have complained about that, too. He made the announcement, and then we did. Sounds about right to me that the list was updated promptly. Also, I thought he was the next coming, but strange things happen in this game.

I will be glad that we don't have them on our schedule. There is zero to gain from those games other than letting everybody play, but they face better competition in practice every day, so even that isn't much of a benefit.

year and away on an even, there is a precedent with them playing at ND and at GT this year(odd year). UF game doesn't take away a home game on odd years for them. We also played them odd year in 2013 and even 2014. The question is would they be willing to wait 3 years for the return visit. We have to have a home game or made for TV neutral game where we make a bunch of $ in 2021.

I don't know if you are "exactly right", but you definitely are right in your thinking about the obligations and about the earnings potential. It's all about "Show Me The Money", and sadly, that's how it must be. Also, we gain nothing in terms of respect by beating a no-name non D1 team.

2021, 2022, 2023 could shape up to be real tough schedules. You never know but these teams have been tough years past.

Wish we could get a home and home with the East Carolina Pirates.Amazing to this day that Clemson has not played ECU ever and yet played everybody else in the state of North Carolina.I would love a trip to Greenville,NC and Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium to watch the Tigers and Pirates go at it on the gridiron.

App St won 11 games in 2015 loosing only once more to conf camp Ark St and beating Ohio in a bowl game! They also have wins over Michigan and South Carolina (I saw that one. RB John Settle had a great game!) as an FCS school! Justin Watts is an assistant coach there. I had rather play them than Kent or some other Non Power 5 teams.
