We are better than that now. We have higher goals than just a state championship. We want to lay the wood to the poultry and then step up to the national spotlight. Our ultimate goal is a NC again. A BCS win would set us up for that run next year and would supercharge our recruiting. We have transcended the rivalry with Scar, let the dominance begin.

I don't care that it is Scar.. it could be TCU or UCLA, but they are the ranked team and our last game that we have to win for the BCS to be an option. That is why it is so important.

you don't have to interact with coot fans daily and hear the smack talk day in and day out. Not saying we shouldn't play for more than just a win against the coots, but a win against the coots is imperative.

No, it is ALL THAT MATTERS now. In past years, we've been able to make the excuse that the looming ACCCG game was more important, but not this year. The Carolina game is our biggest game of the year, bar none, and it's a must-win game. There's no way we can suffer the indignity of allowing the ##### to spoil what could be an extremely special season.

That said, I can see your point--it shouldn't be the ultimate goal, as there will be one more after this one to truly make it a special season.
But let's worry about that later. South Carolina is the only thing that matters right now.
