Also, vaccines don't protect against S. African variant. There will be a booster later this year for that.
I used to think once everyone got the vaccine everything would be "back to normal". I no longer believe that.

transmitting is greatly reduced. And if the at risk group has been vaccinated, the overall risk is very low. We have become conditioned to viewing "new case" as something ominous. If the risky population is vaccinated, it seems to me that this is not really true, or at least no more so that any other coronavirus.

I'm just laughing at those getting giddy that they might be able to shed the mask and socialize. Hell I don't wear a mask and never stopped socializing. Have attended many maskless parties (over 100 people 4th of July) and only go to bars that don't enforce mask wearing.
