Where do you think we will fall in the new polls?

If we were going by how well the team played, I could see us moving into the top ten and have USUC falling out to the top 15, but I don't think they put that much thought into it.
I figure we'll move up a spot or two, but the big 10 lovefest will leave Mich in front of us.

I think we will be 11 or 12. They will probably have michigan in front of us. But i dont really care until the end.

I HOPE that we don't move in the poles. Even IF we get to 8/0, I hope we don't move in the poles until we get to 10/0 if we can. No worse team to play against than one that feels they are being disrespected. Leave us right where we are so our Clemson don't get complacent and drop the ball. Clemson mostly does better when they feel they don't get any respect. I hope that the writers and other fans disrespect the h&ll out of us. Our guys will practice harder, and hit in the games with very bad intentions. GOOOOOO TIGERSSSS, the others are disrespecting us/y'all. They the others are saying that you players had a horse shoe up your A$$ES last night. And that AuBum has a much better team than ours. Yeah that's what they are saying about our/you Tigers. They are also saying that we should be spelling Tigers with a small t.

Vandy is a better team than last year when they barely lost to UGA and Ark. As the season goes on you will see that Vandy is not the same Vandy from years past. I will wait for your next insightful response about football.

And watch out for those pesky Pirates, no Garcia to save Shaws ### this time.
You propably wont drop because of SEC homerism, but remember they really dont respect you and will toss you aside very quickly.

The thursday night game looked sloppy. If Vandy had any sort of offense it would have been over in the first half. Both teams couldn't move the ball because they kept shooting themselves in the foot and the defenses looked decent at best. Vandy will lose to every east team except possibly florida. Don't get your hopes up about playing in ATL. I see a bulldog repeat on taking the east.

Never said we looked good Thursday night. I know we didn't look good. Our D played decent other than two breakdowns where they gained over half their total yardage. But to say Vandy is much less than Auburn if at all is ignorant. We dont play well and squeak out a road win against a team who publicly called the game their super bowl and we suck. Clemson squeaks by an unranked SEC team that is 7th best at best and took a heisman performance by Ellington and it is a "signature win".

saying that Auburn is not top tier! And it will take alot more to beat the likes of FSU, and VaTech.
But i have an easy time saying Auburn looked better than Vandy.
If you disagree fine, but you better hope your coaches dont think that, because I think they have alot more to fix than we do!

It's funny how people see different things. You squeaked by the 11th place SEC team and you want to try to play down or game. Just admit that you guys looked horrible. We by far didn't play a perfect game, but our problems we self inflicted. We can address those. You guys couldn't get anything going and had to ride your injured qb. BTW, we had more than Ellington making plays last night. How many catches did your leading receiver have against Vandy? Of course you need a qb that can actually throw.

Is the 5th place rings getting old yet? You do realize that makes yall look even worse right? To get spanked by the "5th place rings" team? But that is getting off topic. Vandys big plays were self inflicted as well, so it could go both ways. In no way am I saying we played well and we will have to play much better if we want to have a successful season. I think Vandy and Auburn would be a toss up if they played on a neutral site. As I said we will see as the season goes on. We have to play much better against the better teams in the East. As yall will have to play better against FSU, VT, and maybe GT. I will be back to discuss as the season goes with those who actually enjoy discussing football.

I know some of you make yourself feel better when discussing football throwing out these original put downs. I actually enjoy discussing both sides, weaknesses and strengths. I know some enjoy just talking about how great their team is and how they have no faults and they can do nothing wrong.

Changing the subject to previous seasons? I make no excuses for 2011, we played poorly, especially Garcia. We gave up 56 to the National Champs in 2010. Yall gave up 70 to West Virginia, so does that mean your team sucks even worse? and if we suck, you lost to this sucky team 3 years in a row. This could go all day bro. Let me guess, Clemson is going undefeated, going to win it all, Ellington will win the heisman, Dabo COY?

There were no calls that went against us earlier in the game. And were they going to get 6 points automatically if it had been called? They had not been successful getting into the end zone all game other than a fluke mistake by our safety. To say they would have won even if it was called is a stretch at best.

I agree they missed the pass interference call but we got the Boyd fumble overturned and honestly, it looked like a fumble all the way to me. Both teams had some calls that were questionable and a few non-calls as well.

I think Vandy and Auburn are close, but not the same team. Auburn is down, they have talent to be very good and Vandy is up with the talent and coaching to be even better. I think Clemson played fairly well and USC didn't play their best game but if we judge our seasons by 8 quarters of football why play the other 11 games? We will see how both teams play against the tougher teams on the schedule (Virginia Tech, Florida State, USC) (Georgia, Florida, LSU, Clemson.)

IMO, 2 teams played decent opponents Saturday. Us and Bama. Both won with Bama blowing the doors off Michigan. Georgia struggled against mighty Buffalo. Florida struggled against mighty BGU. Carolina struggled against Vandy. Wisconsin looked god awful as well. FSU, Oregon, and Okie State want to beat there chest about beating teams that freaking Grayson High School could thump. Personally, I think none of them really showed anything. Clemson should realistically should be around 8th, but probably won't due to the ignorance that seems prevelent these days. Sort of like the troll talking above about Vandy being every bit as good as Auburn.

We should pick up 1, maybe 2 spots for sure. Remember that some clowns didn't have us ranked at all on their ballots, and it would be well-nigh impossible for them to do so now.
At the same time, others who actually did their homework and had us ranked low for O Line concerns should have been mollified after last night.
In the end, I'm expecting 12, hoping for higher. but I'm not especially sweating it at all.

It does not matter at this point. Keep winning and the rankings will take care of themselves. We beat an unranked opponent by a touchdown at a neutral site. No need to get ahead of ourselves.
