It is unfortunate that Brad Brownell has not been able to enjoy this run to the elite 8. Life is short we all need to celebrate our achievements. Maybe soon.

I'm sure he's able to savor it a little bit

But have to remember he entered season under the gun from many in fan base. & you do have those expecting a drop off for next year.
1 thing I am encouraged by is appears Brownell isn't content to rest on his laurels & wants to prove last year wasn't a fluke.

More fun than a barrel of monkeys ! Nay, more fun than watching FOOTBALL (Here comes the hate) ... 1.5 hours and game over and you can return to getting life advice from the Mrs.

You're allowed to enjoy watching one over the other. Personally, I enjoy both...

I've never understood folks complaining about the time of football games. If it's something you love to do, why do you want it over with more quickly? I get the commercials have gotten out of control, but football games only happen 7 times a year in Death Valley ... I am in no rush to get it over with.

When you're sitting in the stands and the man with the red hat comes out twice

in a 10 minute period holding a sign that counts down from 3 and a half minutes it starts to add up...I LOVE going to the games, but the commercial breaks have grown from 2:40 to 3:30 in a couple of years time and they shoehorn the breaks in anywhere they can...It's not unusual for them to bracket an extra point/kickoff with them...At some point there's got to be a limit

And when was the last time a basketball game took 1.5 (I assume that means 1 and 1/2 hours)? Seems like the last 5 game clock minutes take 30 minutes. But like you suggest, I choose to watch the 3.5 of edge on your seat entertainment vs the 1.5 of not much matters till the end. In other words a scoop and score early mat prove a game changer...a steal and 3 pointer won't. Just my preference. Still love what BB and team did.

To me it appears that the incoming transfers are better than the outgoing?

Hall was not a transfer. the BC transfer is stronger defensively as well as a 40

per cent three point shooter, and had it all over the Tiger Guards match ups plus he wants to play with Chase. Clark is being replaced by a much stronger Foster who had much better stats. No contest with those three. The big Russian is not as talented as Hall, but he has better backups with Duke transfer and Fosteer with 72 inch wingspan also being able to play Center.

I’m positive about the ‘24-‘25 season but don’t get carried away. I don’t see anyone coming in to equal or surpass PJ.
