so you admit they know more about the foozballz than you do. BUt you don't want to fathom that these guys may actually be good football coaches and Dabo sees that.
Blocking the wrong dude or running the wrong route i can see as a largely a lapse in coaching.
Dropping a ball that hits yo in the hands or not being able to get to the outside on a pull fast enough wouldn't be on the coach.
Back in the day i would say recruiting was largely dependent on the coach.. but i think NIL plays a bigger role now a days than coaching. Well, at least 50/50. Maybe like 33/33/33 . Coach/NIL/school

I admit that I have questioned more than once on this board that the two of them need to go. But I don't know for sure anymore.
I don't want to call it blind faith in Dabo, but I guess that is where I am at now. How this team turned things around has given me more hope. The offensive production over the last 3 seasons has not been anywhere close to what it should be for the talent we have... we all know that.
And for what Dabo is paid, we should be a top 10 program every year. This year was our miss. We were one win away from the CFP last year as bad as our offense was.
I trust Dabo will make the necessary changes this offseason to correct the problems. Bringing Riley in was a huge step. We shall see what comes next.

I mean it’s like road construction, am I a civil engineer? No, but I can tell you the job on I85 is taking too long and will still complain about it regardless. Dabo’s not infallible, he’s made some bad hires. Some of us just realize this quicker than others and want him to fix it now that the seasons over. The zealots on here that make it out like Dabo is beyond reproach on a fan message board are just baffling

Grisham, yes....Austin, no....imo. I feel the OL has at least progressed some towards the end of the year. WR...not so much. Again....just my opinion.

Just curious what people think. Dabo fires Tyler and because of it Wesco and Moore jump ship, we then go over to Daniel Hs and find a couple of recievers for the new coach. I wonder if the next Coach will do as well with the 2 star daniel receivers as Tyler will do with 2 top 100 players. I figure Dabo will make what he thinks is the best decision but I would hate to be in his shoes.

Would normally agree with you, and I’m not saying both should or shouldn’t be fired… but I’m saying if you don’t think they are doin the job up to the standard we should be setting then you don’t let loosing a couple recruits factor in… I think what a lot of ppl fail to realize is a high percentage of three commits are committing to Clemson and Dabo , who was a wr as well. It could be just me but when one of the best DCs in Clemson history left two years ago I don’t think we lost that many recruits honestly..

Not criticizing but just asking because I admit I know nothing about offensive line play.
Is the line play better or worse or same as under Caldwell?
I would think OL guys want to go where they can develop best for NFL

I would say a definite upgrade is needed at those positions, player wise, but not seeing the day to day I will not speak on their jobs. They may both be busting their butt's for this team.

Injuries are a big reason for both group's below average performance, but I see more on the field development with the Oline than the receivers. On the other hand recruiting appears to be going better on the receiver front. It's a tough call.

I actually think the OL has done ok. If not, then Shipley and Mafah would not have been able to run it down the Coots throat.
However, you can make a case for getting rid of Grisham. Even though we've had a lot of injuries, the WR's just look lost and don't block well or attack catching the ball.
But making these decisions are why Dabo makes the big bucks.

We are the only team I consistently see that cannot exucute the screen. Boggles my mind why they even try to run it. Receivers whiff most times on their blocks.

I agree with Grisham…Austin gets another year. IMO.
Many of our receivers don’t high point the balls anymore…some of our DBs have better high point catching skills.
