this guy in my class said "Clemson is gay" and my reply was "says the guy with the word ##### written on his shirt". He never bashed Clemson again or wore that ugly shirt again.

For historical perspective I finished up 8th grade in 1976
That summer we celebrated America's 200th birthday. It
was quite a celebration with battle reenactments, lots of
fireworks and other neat stuff. Interesting fact: more
pictures were taken on July 4, 1976 than all pics taken
previously combined.
But I digress; there were annoying coots around then too.
I grew up in the little town of Central in the shadow of
Clemson and at RC Edwards Middle and Daniel High there
were diehard coot fans, some just to be different even
though they didn't really have much to crow about then.
But enough of my Friday nite ramble.

2010 was my 8th grade and my school had the time was split up with kids from Easley, Pickens, Liberty, Central, and Travelers Rest so I was around a lot of die hard coot fans and they were just horrible.

My 8th grade year was the year of "The Catch 2.0" Woody to Rod Gardner to set up the winning kick by Aaron Hunt...I believe, anyways I was lucky enough to be there with my dad. It was when I unofficially "committed" to play at Clemson. Lol

George Washington was a classmate, and I can personally vouch for the fact that he never told a lie.
Except that one time he and I cut class to go cut down some cherry tree to get wood to build a boat to use to get across the Potomac River.
That was because the river was too wide to swim across, although I did see George sling a dollar across it once, which was a heck of a feat since that dollar was paper!
And by the way, you'll be impressed to know that many considered him to be a Goth of his day, as he always dressed in black and made up his face. Wore false teeth, also, handcarved out of a piece of wood from that cherry tree!
