It is irresponsible to not make a choice if these guys end up as the final two.
Both have unpleasant (to put it mildly) personalities.
Whose policies and whose track record do you prefer?

Incumbents with bad poll numbers are typically expected to engage in debates.
I may be misinterpreting ma understanding that the political parties are not required to follow a state’s primary election results when selecting delegates for the candidates which competed in the primaries.
C&P from the blog site National Constitution Center - Sept. 23, 2015.
“States set many rules of primary elections; they choose the date and determine if the primary will be open or closed. Yet they do not have absolute power—for example, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down a voter-approved law requiring “blanket” primaries in California. Plus, the political parties determine how delegates will be assigned in light of primary results.”
If I’m not mistaken with my interpretation, Biden can be legally nominated as the Democrat party’s POTUS nominee even if he doesn’t get a single vote in the primary. By virtue of being the incumbent president, he may not need to acquire the signature numbers that non-incumbents must reach to be put on the ballot.
Again, if I have not misinterpreted.

You’re close. Just a little mixed up.
TDS’ers send money to politicians who have already enriched themselves via blackmailing foreign countries (Ukraine) and solicited bribes from our geopolitical rival (P.R.China) in exchange for favorable USA foreign policies &/or USA government secrets.
From his stint as POTUS, can you list an example of Trump’s grifting?
Go for it.

Trump is an excellent debater. His performance in the 2016 primaries and general election attest to that ability of his.
That said, the Republican field of competitors is essentially Dipo and Trump and the Seven (+/- a few) dwarfs.
The smart strategy is to watch the dwarfs fight it out among each other. When the top two dwarfs emerge, THEN comes the time for Trump to begin participating in the debates.

I'm still not sure either Biden or Trump will be their party's nominee.
What's really amazing is despite Trump being detested intensely by many voters and now indicted 4 times, that because Joe Biden sucks so freaking bad, Trump actually is still just a few points behind Biden and could still win.
It's like a choice between pancreatic cancer or glioblastoma. You lose either way.

The fact that you think the last debates are even similar situations shows how out of touch you with reality. A lot has happens since then. He would get destroyed. You think the situations are similar? He has ro run on his past now and what has happened. You don't get that though.

Trump’s governing record is excellent.
It is his personality that the political establishment’s hand fed media had amplified, as well as sowing BS like the Russia hoax, golden showers, and Ukraine blackmailing (that last one being supremely ironic).
The FBI & DoJ … aided again by the corrupt establishment media which takes its direction from the Democrat party … committed election fraud by sitting on the Hunter Biden laptop issue until after the 2020 election had taken place.
If the 2020 debates hadn’t been profoundly rigged in Biden’s favor, then Biden would have been destroyed in both the debates and the general election.

They clearly know how to get things done. I find it profoundly impressive they figured out how to control the entire government and all of its branches, and get them all working in concert together for their agenda. If you can do that, you clearly have a proven track record of accomplishments, and that’s who I want in charge of things.
