There is nothing wrong with being in a crap conference as long as you WIN! And that's what Dabo is doing, winning.
If any coach has a choice as to what conference to play in, they pick ACC. All day.
Nothing wrong with it. Your conference doesn't determine what you are as a team. Take off the orange glasses. It's ok to be in a crap conference, as long as you win the 2 or 3 tough games you have. Being undefeated makes a crappy schedule irrelevant. FSU proved it. All we have to do is beat FSU and it's a cake walk

I'm making the argument for playing cupcakes, i like that we start out with crap teams, then get to play NC State, BC, NC state, Miami, Syracuse and Wake. And I would take playing those teams all day over playing the ones you named.

Not on Clemson's schedule so I could care less. We have Miami and GT from that side, and I would gladly take UNC over GT. Prolly ab the same as Miami tho, both are ab 7 or 8 win teams

Not sure if you know this yet, but GT blew Ole Miss out of the ####### water, after a month of preparation. Same team that beat Bama.
UGA was the next best team in the SEC, and GT took that one as well.
FSU just won a national championship and 12 more games in a row before dropping to Oregon in the CFB playoffs.
ND beat LSU, and brings back more starters than them this year.
UofL beat UK like a drum.
Let's not even start with MSU (the other Mississippi school projected by ESPN to make the playoff for much of the season. Did great in conference play, but TCU beat them by like 80 points in the bowl game, didn't they?
UF? Ummm. Did they even make it to a bowl game?
Tennessee beat scar - which was perceived as a good win until scar finished regular season play at 6-6 and a beat down by their rival (led by a one-legged qb)
Sad that Mizzou sets the bar in the east. Consistently.
ACC weak? UofL just had 10 guys go in the draft (more than scar has had go in the last 3 combined).
If Clemson and scar switched places, Clemson would've play for the SEC title at least 3 of the last 5 years. That's being humble. Scar lost to AU, LSU and UGA teams the same seasons we beat them. aTm blew you out AFTER slipping past a meeting with a heisman winning Johnny FB led team. You got to play against "the next guy" (1/20 CFB fans even know his name) - and were humiliated on national tv for all to see. This of course the season after Manziel needed a miracle to come back from 20+ pts vs DUKE in their bowl game.
Scar? Well they lost to FSU's worst team in the last decade in the peach bowl, with their beat team in over a century.
Yeah, let's not pretend they would have sniffed a title in the ACC within the same time frame.

KY, Vandy and Arky every year since 1992. Add 2 non-conf scruggs and "Clemson" by your fanbase claims.
Now, TN and Florida have blown for a number of years and you added Mizzou as a mid-level BIG12 that is jailraping your division. Georgia is stuck as a 8, 9 game winner every year and somehow they rise to the top of your division more oftern than not.
