He's not interested in Clemson its Fsu. Where is everybody getting there information from. He's talking to fsu strong. I haven't read nothing about him talking to Clemson. It would be nice if I recruiting class would have a surprise commit though.

or some other Bama commit has contacted the staff and expressed an interest in the Tigers. People have assumed it is FitzPatrick since he is their only soft DB commit.

recruits are calling Clemson coaches, though I do understand why Lead COOT would want to down play that. They've been passed over on the food chain. Clemson has hit a new gear in recruiting.
As to the OP's question , the recruit in question is looking at FSU. Being from Jersey, he's looking for something closer to home. Reports have him wanting a look at Clemson after their bowl game. He wouldn't give Clemson a look earlier in the process when Clemson recruiters were contacting him. Having the NUMBER ONE D and one of the best DC's in Nation does have it's perks.
