What will our rotation, pen look like next year?

Just wondering who you guys have coming back and coming in after the draft is over. I think we have a chance to be pretty good again next year, if Eubanks and Barnes both return.

Potential Starters:

Barnes/Eubanks if they return

Higginbotham, Mitchell Miller, or one of the many freshman we redshirted or have incoming. Lots of quality arms next year.

Bullpen:

Crawford, Gilliam, Ryan Miller, Beasley, Hennessy, Campbell if healthy, redshirt and incoming freshman

As far as freshman who redshirted this year...

Bo Gobin is a submarine guy from Summerville who was the 4A state pitcher of the year in the state of SC. Could really be a dangerous arm out of the pen.

Blake Holliday intrigues me as a potential starter. BIG frame who throws low 90s and was the 3A state pitcher of the year in SC his senior year.

As far as true freshman coming in this year... Spencer Strider from Knoxville, TN really intrigues me. Up to 96 MPH this year. That kind of velocity gets you innings FAST.

Barnes is not planning to return

I don't know much about our incoming freshman class by position or how likely it is that any of them go pro instead of going to school. I also haven't heard whether we're likely to pick up any graduate transfers. When all those things shake out we should have a better idea about next year.

Does anyone close to the program know anything about the possibility of incoming transfers or does that stay hush hush until after the CWS?

Usually depends on need once the draft passes and you see what you're losing and need to address.
