My belly is full. I’m still drying off the sweat from the work of dinner. What sport are we talking about? Football? I’d love to see something amazing this season. But I have almost zero expectations. Just want to see a good clean fight. Not to harp on negativity, but best was the standard at one point. Couple seasons ago, it changed to the best we can get is the standard. But then last season, best was clearly not the standard anymore. Stubbornness was the standard. And stubbornness may still exist in areas where stubbornness just can’t.
It depends on how much Dabo has grown over the past couple seasons. He’s still a great leader of men. He still knows how to lead a winning program. And if he hasn’t become overly concerned in the legacy of his coaching tree, it may even work out a few more times.
It’s possible we finish 5th in the ACC. But with Dabo at the helm, it’s also possible that we win another National Championship.

Books have our season win total at 9.5, we’ve won 10+ games for 13 straight seasons. I’d take the over, I see a 11-1 or 10-2 type year, another ACC championship game appearance. If we can go 12-1 with only loss being FSU, then beating them in a ACCCG rematch, that should be enough to get into the playoff.
There are definitely still some weaknesses or unproven position groups. QB, WR, LT, DE, and secondary has been so inconsistent. And we need a kicker.

Last year going 0-3 in the majors especially when their basketball and football teams were not good really chafes my huevos

FSU wins the ACC.
We make the expanded playoff and lose in round 1.
Offense is improved, but still lacking a Mike Williams/Sammy/Hopkins type threat outside.

Everyone with any eligibility comes back next year. Everyone who can't return is a 1st round pick.
Both Wes and Riley get offered and turn down multiple SEC HC jobs after the season just to coach for Dabo again.
Or, we lose twice to FSU and go to the music city bowl.
