He grew up in clemson after all and knew about them his whole life. So for him Clemson wasn't as much his new home (which is something out of state players embrace) as it was the only place he was ever going to play college football.

He is a hometown hero and loves his high school. Daniel has produced several NFL players over the past years. Most people say their college on there. I guess he just likes being a little different. I really don't think it's anything against clemson. Go Tigers and Go Daniel Lions!

My understanding is the players were tired saying their college school. They changed to high school, some even started saying their elementary school name.

Nuk never quite fit Dabo's culture the same as guys like Tahj, CJ, and DW4. That has only grown since he's been away from Clemson. But he loves his hometown and gives back in his own ways.
