What type of restaurant or food does the Clemson area need?

There is wings, pizza, sandwiches and burgers galore. Also a good amount of mexican, Japanese and Chinese.
But what is the area lacking currently? IMO it's missing a good middle eastern style place with good kebabs and the like. Also could use a good Italian place. That's been missing ever since Brioso left town.
what else?

All of the food at Roller Mills is delicious, but their ribs are better than you will find within many miles...even better than Sardi's ribs used to be.

We used to go to all the gas stations in the late 70s to find the best hot dog around. There were a couple places around Seneca that would put Skins to shame.

Even a chain like Carrabas or Olive Garden would do.

Carrabas are closing restaurants. Not sure about Olive Garden but it’s a chain serving chain food.

A Taziki's or Kairos chain location would do well in Clemson.

nothing of that type in the area. Greek, middle eastern, mediterranean style would be a hit for sure.

I remember when you could eat a good breakfast at Shoney's, have a fantastic lunch at the Ramada Inn or Holiday Inn buffets, then top off the evening with a good steak from the Western Sizzlin' (a Number 8, medium-well with a baked potato and a salad).
Those three meals might cost you $20 total.
Had a light lunch at the Lighthouse in Seneca today. Two people. $58...plus tip.

Shoney’s had the best breakfast buffet. All I can find these days is Golden Corral which isn’t even close.

No more meat and threes and no more BBQ. Clemson needs a good Greek restaurant, an Italian restaurant, and a Sonic….and a place similar to Mama’s Boy in Athens….and and a good burger restaurant like Pawley’s in Cootlumbia.
