What today coulda been.

Let's just imagine for a moment that Clemson's Fighting Dabos somehow manged to beat Sukolina last week (work with me- I know it's a stretch.) Where would Clemson be today? Top 5? Pulling for MSU and Duke? Possibly staring down a NC? The OB would be in the bag.
Instead we have to beg our way into a BCS game. Which, heaven help us if FSU loses today. Then we'd fall to the Russell Athletic Bowl vs Louisville? Or back to the Peach(I will always call it that) vs TAM?
I know! Who loves Nashville in late Decemberrrrr?!?! I know I'm salivating at the thought of Vandy in the Music City Bowl!

It's rhetorical bro.

Winning that last game will always have huge implications. Just think about the last two seasons. Where would Clemson be if they'd won those games? Losing to Sukolina is devistating in so many ways- bowl games, recruiting, bragging rights, conference prestige, etc. 5! in a row is unacceptable.

only a top 10 team because they beat clemson, the golden goose.
with that said, my statement stands, i'll call out that rhetoric every time.
it's absurd.

You should stick with the Steelers. It is clear that you do not know a lot about college football with that statement. Enjoy the day.

leading into uga and when cu won the opener, huge ups.
probably the highest point[in the minds of the nation] for clemson since early '89?
bama would be a great salve for some deep wounds. not saying clemson would win, but i like a bama matchup better than tamu or oregon with their mobile qbs.

with Bama than almost any other top 10 team. It would definitely be a tough task but high upside.
