Remember Joe Williams? He was Furman’s basketball coach back in the ‘70s. He wore these neon purple leisure suits with the flared bell bottom pants and huge side pockets.
He had a great player called Clyde Mayes. He ultimately became Furman’s winningest BB coach.
Maybe we should put our guys in bright purple leisure suits for road games and orange ones for home games.

Everyone is doing this. Black, grey, Pastel, etc outside of the team colors.
Don't know why, but it ain't just Clemson....

There are enough combinations of orange, purple and white to make any other color unnecessary!! Those grey bball unis were terrible and that baby blue/lavender thing the coaches wore a couple times was even worse!!

I was wondering about that with the baby blue outfits. We know that ABC/ESPN cameras can turn our purple football jerseys into Gator blue.

yes, we know it's true. So should our coaches, administrators and marketing people. Far more people see them on TV than in person. The first time they wore them - and they clearly appeared UNC blue on tv - they should have been retired.
