If this class is only a B+
Feb 6, 2013, 9:24 PM
|

its because of Dabo's reputation (and media expectation) of a class full of 5 stars.
A consensus top 15 class is clearly above B+ on the bell curve of 117 D1 teams.

B+ sounds reasonable to be. A grades should be limited to top 10.

Clemson has more LB than they have spots to play LB as it is.

LB play

I'm hoping against hope that Anthony, Steward, and Mr. Parker show progression next year to what they can be. Add a year under Shuey's belt and this could be a late '80's type of Clemson LB crew. With a healthy crew of DBs and a stronger crew of young DLs...It could be something

I agree, if, and it is a big if, he lives up to the hype, and I hope he does. Remember, he is BV's hand picked choice, and I would bet he came to us on a pretty good promise. That and the statements made about his leadership last year. I say he starts at some point this year.

I'm glad I didn't take that class at Clemson since a top 15 class gets you a B+. Missing out on Lawson and Adams in the last days doesn't discount the overall talent being brought in.

You hear coaches say "He's coach-able". I'll take a whole class of coach-able PSAs any day compared to a bunch of media hyped 5*s.

I was just watching the film on Dye. And you can't teach the vision that kid has. He is going to be our best RB since CJ I do believe.

I watched some film on Dye, and I thought he is a power back. I'm no expert. Some story I read on him somewhere said he was a scat back. Does anyone have have a definite answer?

Well according to his profile he is 6'1" and 210 lbs.

but I've heard he has pretty good speed so I'm not exactly sure. He definitely has the size to be a power back though.
I've seen him compared to James Davis on a few sites so take that for what it's worth.

Let's see, Top 15 class = B+ . . .

yeah, that makes real good sense. I rate their credibility at F. Even a gamecock graduate can understand that a top 15 class is at least an A-.
