So now that everyone knows that the report of morris

interviewing with S Fla was a lie, where are those who bashed Chad at with their apology? He should be fired for this, he is cheating on Clemson. Will you eat your pride long enough to apologize for calling him names and bashing him?

they won't be any jobs open after the bowl. So when can he look for a HC job? Has anyone even see what his contract said? Did we not know that he was wanting to be a HC at some point. So if a big time job like Auburn or Tenn wanted to interview him, he should do like no other coach would and not interview? How many here would turn down AU if they came calling to interview

If he leaves, he leaves. This is a job for him. He is not a lifelong Clemson fan. There is no such thing as cheating on a school. Coaches are entitled to leave when they want and be fired by the school.

Any offensive recruit will know Morris isn't staying

Doesn't matter if he interviews any more this year or not. Its quite obvious the guy is looking to take a HC job some place and as long as he continues success then his head coaching search will continue. It doesn't matter if the earlier reports are true or not...the fact is its doubtful he will be here more than another year. Recruits are not stupid and Im sure Dabo lets them know Morris isn't here to stay and will be replaced with a like minded coach when the time comes. No use getting your panties in a wad every time a report of Morris interviewing comes out whether it be false or true. The fact is he WILL be interviewing there is no stopping that.

But at what date do you have to stop and start preparing for the bowl game and some what earn your current contract with your current team?

during the season. As for bowl prep, there are 15 practices allowed. I guarantee you he'll be ready to install his game plan when the first practice comes around. That was a dumb thing to post.

Chad should and will interview for any job he is interested in pursuing. That's what good assistant's do if they aspire to be a head coach.

What does it matter if it was a lie or not?

Morris is a hot commodity. He has already stated in the past his desire to be a head coach. It's only a matter of time now. I'm inclined to believe he should stay at least one more year while he still has Tajh and Watkins just to have another year of experience; he can probably get a better job then. Honestly though, S. Fla seems like a great place to start a HC career. Tampa ain't that bad of a place. I bet they got some decent recruits down there if you can sell them on S. Fla. There's not going to that much pressure there like a big time school. I wouldn't blame CM one bit if he took that job.

Oh there won't be any apology's. But on their death bed they will receive total consciousness. So they got that going for them. Which is nice.

I guess we should never take anything said on T-Net as the truth. What most have said was said as if the truth was spoken. And If Morris was having a second interview in less than a month. That would up set an awful lot of folks. For me personally, I would see it as no gratitude for the coach/school that gave him his first big chance. And doing multiple interviews just two seasons later would be UN-COOL. That is my personal opinion. As we all know what opinions are like. As for the name calling and bashing, that would be UN-COOL also. And childish.
