What I appreciate most about the entrance video that ABC

produced, is that Herbie and Brent didn't talk all over it....they let it breath. There were no superimposed graphics and the camera shots were timed just perfectly.

It really was an award worthy production.

It was really, really well done...and I'm not saying that just because it was Clemson as the subject matter.

Wasn't intended backhanded at all. Not sure what you read into it. I happen to think the clemson entrance is great and thought ABC did a very good job of showcasing it.

I could not agree more.

I was always a fan of Fox's extended marching band coverage when they aired BCS bowl games but I've never seen ESPN or anyone else spend that much pure airtime on the pre-game activities except for a locker room pep talk.

I goes to show that Clemson has a very unique and special tradition that is worthy of being shown in its entirety without cutaways to Nissan commercials or the like.

really made it special. The fact that the camera that "ran down the hill" toward the end of the segment hit the bottom at the same time the "C" "L" "E" "M" flags were going up and the fireworks were going off was proof. A lesser effort and they would have missed that.
