I can't believe this narrative is, well, even a narrative. How'd it become a narrative? I guess because Dabo made it one... unless you didn't really listen to his press conference. It's nothing he hasn't said a dozen times. It's redic.
No one except trolls have posted or even suggested that Dabo was anywhere close to the warm seat.

Dabo, the first coach ever to put himself on the hot seat (minus those who get into some legal trouble)???? Good job, coach. Accomplished another first…

Dabo put himself on the hot seat with his mouth. No one said anything at the presser about him being on the hot seat. We have seen this before. He doesn't take a little criticism well when his team is not playing well.

Aside from Dabo himself creating the narrative.
He has accomplished way too much here to be on the hot seat for a 1-2 start.
I can guarantee you that he feels no pressure from Neff or the Board of Trustees.
Plus, he has a huge buyout.
The hot seat talk is ludicrous at this point.

we do not demand a natty every year.
We demand to not have the level of play of Duke while having the level of talent of Georgia

The talent level is not as deep as uga and others. The roster is good, but the performance level is off. That should begin to change on Saturday. We are trying to get elite again. But elite requires big $$$. I think this is part of problem. Clemson will have to pivot given expected players departures at end of year.

Calling for Dabo to leave is ridiculous. He has made Clemson into a name nationally recognized is absurd. He has done more for Clemson than is imagined. I remember going to games in 72 and 73 when Clemson couldn't fill the stadium (at that time it was about 35000) and each student received a game day ticket and a date ticket. I for one am grateful for what he has done. I remember when Clemson played Nebraska for the 81 national championship and Nebraska fans didn't even know where Clemson was. Even if Clemson has a bad year ( which this year is far from over), Dabo deserves to be around for a long time.

Most people would not disagree with you. But the fact that this is a continuing narrative tells you where things are right now, and this narrative will only continue until we get back to the level of consistency and good play that we all expect.

Agree But Please Tell Coach Swinney To Back Off The "Leaving" Rhetoric...We ❤️ U Dabo And When U Experience Negative Noise (Which IS What's Happening) Don't Listen🤔 But U Do Need Answer Why (3) Years Together And These Players Have Not Improved...🤔🤔

without that . this team has no chance
on top of that we're lucky to be this good with so few coaches kids on the teams lately
and on top of that , we're even more luckier to be this good without more inexperienced former player coaches
and most of all, very fortunate Venables is not coaching here anymore. recruiting and the product when he was here is night and day compared to how it was before and it's been after he was at Clemson

Amen! The team needs our support, not rejection, and that includes the coaches. If it had not been for Dabo's success, no one would be considering getting rid of him.
