What has me so lost and FRUSTATED...

I just don't get it...you can flip on a game and watch Akron or Ball State or even on the weekends these highly ranked teams are playing D2 schools and usually the QB can make a few plays. I mean we aren't playing a Bama defense every week surely "The Chad" can dial up something to work in the offense to help Stoudt out, I mean we CANNOT be that bad in every aspect on offense can we?!?! You see these guys on these no name games throwing out routes, hitting a tight end across the middle, etc...and I don't want to hear he doesn't have time...if the Def is bringing that much pressure someone is open or dial up plays to beat a good rush if you are that great of an OC...like I said its not like we are playing Bama or some of these very good defensive teams. Our off is one of the worst in the country without Watson and its painful to watch. I also blame the coaches bc they are the talent evaluators and they have had some obvious screw ups in the QB dept. A program like us should have a 3rd string guy that can go in and at least run the offense or make a couple throw, I say 3rd string bc Kelly was an idiot and Stoudt was prob the 3rd string guy, unless they redshirt Watson. It just baffles me.

Stoudt's injury is far worse than the staff has let on...

even before the injury he was playing very poorly. Stoudt is having trouble getting the ball 5 yards downfield. We had the same thing happen in 2010, with Kyle Parker when Dabo refused to put in Boyd, even though it was obvious Parker's rib injury from the Auburn game was greatly affecting his throwing ability. If you have a QB who is getting you mostly 3 and outs, and throwing passes right to defenders, you have to try the next guy. You saw in the GT game that Schuessler, in limited action, has a whole lot more zip on the ball than Stoudt.
Our offensive system is the absolute worst for Stoudt to play in. The only style of offense Stoudt could be effective in is Wisconsin's style of offense, where they ask very little out of the QB. Our system is dependent upon the QB's playmaking ability, and decision making. Stoudt doesn't fit the mold for our offense. I admire Stoudt for toughing it out, but he simply cannot excel in our offensive system.

Exactly what I have been wondering. Without Watson, we

have made every defense look like Alabama.
Louisville (Good defense for sure, perhaps great, who knows) Boston College (Pretty good, physical, but later gave up more points to Va Tech and Wake) Syracuse (Really? We made them think their defense had arrived) Wake Forest (Until the last quarter, we made their defense look good) Georgia Tech (A team that gives up ore points than all of the others)

Maybe we shouldn't have kicked Kelly off the team and found another way to punish him. Stoudt would have been 3rd string if they didn't red-shirt Watson. The thing is, they probably would have red-shirted Watson, which leaves us one injury away from Stoudt anyways or Stoudt starting over Kelly to begin with.
Don't get me wrong, I like a lot of what Stoudt brought to the table for 4 weeks. He took what the defense gave him and actually played pretty well. We have gotten used to seeing incredible wide receivers and high octane offenses, and have that with Watson. I don't mind winning a game 16-6. I think all the fans that complained about Stoudt while we were winning are almost excited to feel validated through a bad performance. If we won every game 3-2 and they were all boring I'd still be excited we won.

I Agree but like I said watch some of these no name middle of the week games or games when the bamas of the world are playing the PCs of the world and they actually still move the ball, may not score but still find ways to move it sometimes. And we aren't playing Bama we are playing some mediocre defenses at best with all these great playmakers...a good OC either realizes stoudt is that bad or we find ways to move the ball...I mean we cant even do that. I mean sat we scored 6 points and 3 of those were on a Watson drive. The kid has to be able to hit a TE or someone across the middle, he obviously cant throw the deep ball but timing routes are ALWAYS there and he cant make a good decision to save his life. I am disappointed in the coaching staff as well for really not realizing how bad he was, SR or not, I mean that Olsen kid cant be that bad he played at Stanford hes gotta have half a brain up there.
