What gives me optimisum against LSU?

They almost lost to Aub. Did they improve vastly from that game where I think the score was like 12-10 or something like this... Was this an off day to LSU?

It was Mettenberger's first ever road start. We moved the ball and outgained them by a lot, but had horrible turnovers which kept Auburn in the game.

It was definitely the worst game LSU played all year along with Towson.

You guys were down 3 to Auburn in the 4th quarter at a neutral site.

Yeah...in the first game of the season in the first live game action.

You can make the same argument about us outgaining them by a lot. We dropped a lot of footballs, which kept them in the game.

And we still beat them worse than you did. I know the transitive property doesn't really apply to football...but it's something to ponder.
