I didnt even think of this negative aspect.
Just think about future recruits. They have to weigh in playing time, fit, money, etc.
Now we have to battle the prospect of a player not choosing us because the Savannah Banana's ran down the hill. What an uphill battle we have.

The game day experience during football season and the banana ball experience are two different animals. Clemson has the best football game day anywhere! Donāt forget, banana ball supports a great cause for families.

I figure many of them were at the game and enjoying every second of it. I'll bet they were standing and cheering when Dabo showed up, unanouncced on the top of the hill. I'll bet they were cheering when they saw the camera shot of the players in the busses and the overehad shot of the busses mking the right turn coming around the corner to the endzone.
And, I'll bet they cheered loudly when CJ Spiller was on the field dancing with the Bananas.

Relax Karen. The hill isnāt exclusive. Kids run down it, college kids pass out and roll down it (or puke on it), the ladies clinic runs down it, opposing schools have had players run down it, recruits who never play here run down it.
The hill itself isnāt and has never been sacred.

Disagree.The ceremony of running down the hill on that Orange carpet has been sacred. That's why they keep it roped off.
Even my 80 year old mother who was over last night and has attended Clemson football games since the 60's commented I don't think they should do that. That's Clemson's tradition.

The Orange carpet even has Clemson outlined in Blue
that's how sacred it is (it is original Clemson colors)
(and before the coots try to say Purple or Regalia is the alt color . As a child I would walk by the vintage Clemson Navy helmet with. two Orange Stripes crossing at the top every time i went to BiLo - it is the original color before purple )
