Did you hear about the social media girl who spontaneously evaporated? She was a vaper, but she will be mist. She had already decided not to take her own picture in the shower due to selfie-steam issues. That’s a bit of dry humor.
My lab partner tried to hit me with a beaker of sodium chloride, but I said stop, that's a salt. If I had a NaCl for every time I heard that, I could quit my job in the salt mines. Then I wouldn’t be so Salty55® lol jk 
I asked the waiter nicely for a soft pretzel. He said “knot now!!” He sounded salty. Oops, there it is again.
Isn’t it ironic that being salty is kind of an insult, but being “salt of the earth” is a compliment, a high praise?

Coach Frank Howard liked to tell about the time he visited Bear Bryant in his office. He noticed a red phone on Bryant’s desk and asked what it was for.
“That’s my direct line to God,” Bryant replied. “You mean I can call God?” Howard asked.
“Sure can,” said Bryant.
“How much would it cost?”
“Only about $20.”
The following year, Bryant visited Howard in his Clemson office and noticed an orange phone sitting on the desk.
“What’s that for?” Bryant asked.
“That’s my direct line to God,” Howard said with a grin.
“How much does it cost to call from here?” Bryant asked.
Howard chuckled, “Doesn’t cost a thing — around here, that’s a local call.”
