What concerns me most about "Jack haters" club

and also for all others who bash clemson coaches (you know who you are). I read your posts after every game making your arguments that we need to fire JL. Everyone has their own opinion and more importantly, their right to express that opinion on this website. Im ALL IN for that.
But what bothers me most is that some of you let the dislike for a coach override your support for the TEAM. You are so wrapped up in trying to prove your point on TNet that you begin relishing in defeats and downplaying victories.
These coaches, whether you like them or not, are CLEMSON coaches who above all represent our university. The day that your opinion becomes more relevant than that of the AD, you will be hired. Everyone has an opinion and it is welcomed but we can still be respectful and ALL pull for OUR TEAM

I agree.What I hope is Jack will see that his predictable aggressiveness is getting us in trouble more than helping

I hope it's not a question of firing coaches,but whether or not the Athletic Dept. wants success in all sports programs,or just in the big money maker we know as football.
A lot of people were not happy with the Dabo hiring,but even they would think,imo, that he has done a good job in making Clemson a team that can compete( and no I am not talking about undefeated MNC's here,but just being able to compete).
Right now the same can't be said about basketball. Our program stinks.But I do not blame the team.I blame the coach.Why can't we compete with the other teams in the ACC?
Why can't Brownell get shooters,or guys who can play the post? How about a true point guard?
Granted we lost two players( to injuries) who were supposed to be good offensively ( Blossingame and Coleman),and we had little depth.
But let's give Brad his opportunity.
Next year will be his fourth and will be his team exclusively.Turn things around and show improvement ,and maybe he won't be a member of the "hater" club.If he doesn't he might be run out of town much like Tommy Bowden.
Jack Legget ,on the other hand has one problem he needs to overcome,and that is the success of USC,especially on the heels of them having owned us the last 3 years,and winning back to back CWS titles.
IMO,Jack's biggest issue is recruiting.He loves small ball, but even the better teams can combine that with some power ball like USC.
But I won't blame the players.
Still if Jack can't get this team back to Omaha,then maybe the Athletic Dept.needs to look to replacing him as well.

Oh, the irony of your post. The OP was mentioning the dislike of a certain coaches being ahead of pulling for Clemson, yet you continue with your hatred of Dabo. Even though Dabo has done an excellent job under a school President who hires fund raising puppets for AD and is more concerned with bending over to our rivals than fielding competitive athletic teams, your hatred for Dabo still shows.

davis....all you do is call people morons. I contribute to IPTAY, I graduated from Clemson in 06, My whole family (mother, brother, and father graduated from Clemson). I am a season ticket holder.
Man if you want to just call people morons to make yourself feel better thats fine, but don't generalize everyone into whatever your brain comes up with

He wasn't talking about keeping incompetent coaches around. He was talking about people who hate a coach so much, that they take joy out of Clemson losing more than they do Clemson winning. Just look at all the Dabo haters that disappeared after we beat LSU. Even the Dabo haters who have hung around on tnet, are still trying to bash Dabo and hopes that Clemson fails under him, just so they can say "look at me, I was right." Point is their hatred for a coach continues even though said coach has proven them wrong.

You are the one who missed the point.
Some of us on here aren't so much worried about the Hall of Fame coach as we are the direction of the program.
Far too many these days are worried about the coach.
Who REALLY has Clemson's best interest in mind?

Just because someone is not happy with the direction of our program due to reoccurring problems the past DECADE doesnt mean we "hate" Jack.

I don't think any true Clemson fan takes any pleasure in watching us lose just to prove their point. Fans are frustrated (myself included) with the mediocrity of both are basketball and baseball programs. Is firing Jack the answer? I don't know but I do know that the constant bickering on here won't make a bit of difference. At the end of the day all we as fans can do is support our teams and hope our AD makes good decisions that lead us back to the level of success we are used to.

Funny thing is at most places if you had a coach that had taken every senior class to the elite 8 or a bcs game there would be a statue erected in his honor. That is what coach leggett has done. A little over 3 years ago we were 1 win from the finals. Now coach has hired a guy that brought in a top 5 recruiting class with another great one on the way. The hatred for coach by some on here is truly mind boggling
