They inherited at team with:

zero depth
Below average defense
guys that were truly a power hitting threat
A spotty bullpen
A pitching staff that can’t throw over 94 mph

And we won the ACC & were one pitch/call/ejection from a super regional (or being in the divers seat at least)

I expect a great recruiting class and a few key portal pick ups will have us in great shape heading into next year.

Was fun watching these guys play the second half of the year!

Great season and it sounds a lot basketball this year. Belief and hard work produce good results.

LOL. We were 10-0 and 1st place in the ACC at mid-season and went through our typical fall off down the stretch, missing the NCAA altogether, and couldn't even scrape out a single win in the Not Invited Tourney; almost the polar opposite of what we saw from Bakich's kids.

Totally agree. Coach Bakich has us heading the right direction. And what Coach Belanger was able to do with the pitching staff over the court of the season shows why he is widely believed to be one of the top college pitching coaches in the nation. Already excited for fall practice and next season!
