What an awful loss

I can’t stop thinking about how bad that was. Worse than the Carolina game. It’s clear that these players are being failed by their coach. There’s tremendous talent on our team, but just awful game planning and in game decisions. We could have a good year, but it’s Dance or Bust for Brad this year. Bye bye

Definitely not as bad as the USCjr football loss considering i don't even know who our basketball team lost to. But then again, I don't really follow the basketball team until the spring.

I think the OP is saying we have talent on this team, and most of which are juniors or older (see Hunter Tyson as 6th year Covid senior).
You can have talent on your team and also leave room to be desired as it relates to recruiting.
For what it’s worth, I think Brownell is an above average purveyor of talent, but only an average recruiter (ie sealing the deal to bring the kid in)
Think we need kids with higher ceilings earlier in their careers if we want sustained success.

I think the overwhelming vast majority are not bashing the players at all. There is definitely enough talent on the team to win more games. Unfortunately there is not enough quality coaching to win consistently. I had high hopes for this team (given the current state of the ACC), but after watching the non-conference part of the schedule, I think we will have another .500 type season.

You must like putting words into mouths. Tremendous talent doesn’t mean 5 stars up and down the roster. We have good players and everyone knows it. Surely capable of getting to the tournament most years.

At some point, every team will have a bad shooting night and ours was bad times 3. As well as we have shot this year, there is no reason we will have that bad a game again but that is basketball.
